Sooryavanshi first look: Akshay Kumar takes on terror in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, books Eid 2020

Sooryavanshi first look posters feature Akshay Kumar as ATS chief Veer Sooryavanshi who believes in a ‘bullet for a bullet’. The Rohit Shetty film will release on Eid 2020.

There was a time Akshay Kumar’s favourite colour onscreen was khakhi, with a slew of cop dramas in his repertoire. Come 2020 and Salman Khan’s favourite release date – the Eid holiday – will see Akshay back in the cop avatar, this time for Rohit Shetty.

On Tuesday, Akshay shared Sooryavanshi’s first look posters and wrote, “A bullet for a bullet! Get ready for #RohitShetty’s #Sooryavanshi on Eid 2020. Action-packed, masala intact!” Film’s co-producer Karan Johar also shared Sooryavanshi first look and tweeted, “Eid 2020 will be about a bullet for a bullet. #Sooryavanshi stars the khiladi of all time, @akshaykumar & directed by the blockbuster machine, #RohitShetty!”
